In the end, we’ll all become stories.

Margaret Atwood

I am really glad that you are here.

Death is not a easy subject to talk about. My job is to guide you through crafting a meaningful legacy while embracing the present moment.

This is my Story

In 2007, I was in a devastating car accident that killed my best friend, Emma. My life was changed forever.

I had lost people I loved before, but nothing as profound as this. It was more than just grief; I found myself lost in a darkness I never knew existed. Like many, I struggled to talk about death, and the silence was isolating. I spent years pretending to be okay, avoiding the emptiness I felt in my heart.

By 2021, the weight of pretending to be someone I was not became too much to bear. I knew I had to confront not only my own pain but also the reality of what it means to face death. Along this journey, there were people who shaped my understanding of end-of-life and what it means to plan for it. The video below shared their story.

They are my why.

End-of-life planning isn’t just about logistics or checklists. It’s about safeguarding the essence of who we are: our values, our love, and the memories that define us. It's about leaving a legacy that will live on in the hearts of those we love, long after we’re gone.

As your course instructor, my mission is clear: to empower you with the knowledge, resources, and peace of mind needed to navigate this deeply personal process with grace and dignity. Drawing upon my fifteen year experience as a leader in the public service, background in grief coaching and commitment to fostering open, honest conversations about loss, I have created this course to a supportive space for you to explore the these very delicate subjects.
